This was such a wonderful experience! Although the markets closed due to weather, Lara offered to take me to do a wine tasting or chocolate tasting instead. The meal she cooked was absolutely amazing and included all traditional foods with well sourced ingredients! After the meal, Lara also graciously took me to a local museum. She offered to take me wherever I needed to go after, and provided me with detailed recommendations of things to do in the city Perugia. This was an amazing, truly authentic experience and was so worth the price. Lara was very personable and I felt that we connected very well. I would recommend this to anyone interested in an authentic food experience for the Umbria region! I am not sure how other hosts would compare, so ask for Lara when you book!:)

Liberata was an amazing host and made me zmthe best Italian meal I had so far. She considered my special nutritional needs and made me feel warmly welcomed. I really recommend this very unique experience to everyone who loves food and wants to get to know locals and traditions away from the touristic restaurants in Italy.

Laura was so much fun, we laughed so much and it felt like we had been friends forever. We made some amazing and authentic food. Laura was so welcoming to us in her home. I would definitely recommend this experience - it was a highlight of our trip to Perugia. It’s a beautiful place

Wonderful welcome experience. Laura made us feel like family and helped us understand the traditions and foods of Umbria
