Moab: Colorado River Dinner Cruise with Music and Light Show

1. Moab: Colorado River Dinner Cruise with Music and Light Show

Begin the evening on the banks of the Colorado River, just 2 miles north of Moab, Utah. Savor a delicious cowboy-style Dutch oven dinner in a dining room overlooking the water. After dinner, climb aboard a flat-bottomed boat and begin your river adventure. A knowledgeable and entertaining guide will point out things of interest and ignite your imagination. Once darkness settles in, the formal part of the evening begins when 40,000 watts of natural light illuminate the canyon wall. Watch as lights, shadows, music, and narration make the stories of the canyon's formation, creation, and history come to life on the walls above the river - as learned from the early settlers of the area (the Catholic conquistadors, Native Americans, and Mormon pioneers). This Sound and Light Show is a not-to-be-missed unique experience and a great end to a perfect day in Moab.

3 day Grand Canyon Tour was fantastic! We went on a full size clean modern bus. Driver Stanley, was a safe good driver. Tour guide, Eduardo, was amazing giving us quite an education of history and facts. We had people on our bus from India, Italy, Australia, and China. Group from Italy needed help with English, so Eduardo spoke in both languages. We visited Grand Canyon South Rim, Low Antelope Canyon (a special tour), Glen Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Park. We stayed in two different hotels; Clarion of Page, AZ and a Quality Inn in Kanab, UZ. They both were comfortable, clean, and included a breakfast...don't expect fancy. It was fun to stop at Route 66 town, old west. When stopping for a meal we had choices to meet different budgets. We learned a lot and saw the most amazing sites! Eduardo made this trip extra special...even as we enter back to Las Vegas he blasted a country song about the city...he captured every possible detail to ensure that everyone had a great time.

We just simply enjoyed it and socializing with other guest from different parts of the country. The staff was very organized both in the dinning room and on the boat. The cowboy dinner was good. The ride on the river was narrated. It was very cool that evening and the staff passed out blankets for everyone. I thought the trip was a good value as well. We were happy with the whole evening.

Very good option to visit the national parks. I was staying in Las Vegas and found it very practical to count on the tour for these long drives. Everything was well organised! Tour guide and driver were super nice and the bus was very comfortable.

This event was just magical! Great food and great history lessons on those gorgeous Moab rocks. The best bit was cruising under the stars. Staff was so amazing as well. You have to do this.

Nice dinner and well organized. River cruise after was informative and pleasant. Great family run business.
