Once darkness settles in, the formal part of the evening begins when 40,000 watts of natural light illuminate the canyon wall. Watch as lights, shadows, music, and narration make the stories of the canyon's formation, creation, and history come to life on the walls above the river - as learned from the early settlers of the area (the Catholic conquistadors, Native Americans, and Mormon pioneers). Start your 3-hour boat tour just 2 miles north of Moab, on the banks of Colorado River. After a safety orientation, you’ll begin your scenic tour. Relax and enjoy the ride. Your covered boat has plenty of shaded seats so you won’t get caught in the sun. Glide down the Colorado River, passing remote side canyons. You may be able to spot some wildlife and birds. Marvel at the 2,200 feet of canyon walls above you, a fossilized sea bed, wonderful views of arches, Indian petroglyphs, and a unique view of an Indian granary. Along the way, your guide will point out interesting sights and inform you of the areas past and present. Pass through the bottom Dead Horse State Park, the iconic Thelma and Louise Point, and a natural amphitheater. Travel 32 miles downriver until you reach the entrance of Canyonlands National Park, where the captain will turn back.

Day 1: LAS VEGAS – GRAND CANYON – PAGE Start the day traveling Southeast through the desert and through the Navajo Indian reservation. Arrive at the Grand Canyon and tour along the south bank and learn how throughout the years the Colorado river carved its way down to the sea and created the wonderland for geologists. After lunch, continue along the canyon east stopping at some of the many Indian market places to browse the handmade arts and crafts. Then head to the Page and Lake Powell area for the evening where you will stay at the Quality Inn View of Lake Powell. Day 2: ANTELOPE CANYON – BRYCE CANYON Start the day as you tour the lower Antelope Canyon and visit the spectacular dunes created by the wind, water, and sand. Then head west to Bryce Canyon home to the most amazing natural sculptures of the world. See amazing rock and sand sculptures honed to perfection over thousands of years of rain wind and sunshine. Experience the unique changing of the colors during the sunset from one of the vista points in the park (may change due to changing sunset times). After the visit, head towards the town of Kanab where you will stay overnight at the Days Inn Kanab. On certain departures, tour will continue to Cedar City for overnight. Day 3: ZION PARK – LAS VEGAS After breakfast, head into Zion park. Tour the park and enjoy a short walking trail along the Virgin river that runs through the park. Then head back for an early evening arrival in Las Vegas.

Combine two must-do activities in one full-day tour. Start your with pickup in Moab, then enjoy an adventurous 4x4 drive through the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park. Explore backcountry sites that many tourists miss. Travel a portion of the White Rim Trail, and make your way up switchbacks of the famous Shaffer Trail.  There will be numerous stops with excellent photo opportunities, including views of the remote Musselman Arch, and sweeping vistas from the top of the mesa.
