What people are saying about Utrecht Province

What a pleasant surprise- a castle with a moat beautifully decorated - a real treat! Well worth the visit but note that it is a bit of the way and even after a train and bus, you still have to walk 1.1 km through beautiful countryside (assuming it is sunny). I have no regrets going and highly recommend. Not sure I would have ventured if I had known how far it was so maybe it was best I did not :-) if you are going by car, there will be no issue. Loved the description in every room and fun activities for kids!

The castle is gorgeous! It is well worth the visit, even though it is a little far from the center of Amsterdam. As we were a group of 4, we rented a car and it was super easy to get there. The getyourguide ticket worked well and saved us from queuing to buy tickets.

The park around the castle is beautiful and very well maintained. The rooms inside the castle give you a different (modern!) perspective of how is life in a castle.

Super beautiful castle, nice staff who give thorough explanations, beautiful the Châtelet was exceptionally open

A beautiful day to become a princess like in the storys und to see how it was in this time
