    Depart Valencia and journey by bus to Albufera Natural Park to discover one of the most important wetland areas on the Iberian peninsula. Marvel at the natural biodiversity of the area that allows a great variety of flora and fauna to thrive year-round. Travel through the nature reserve and listen to an informative commentary on the provided audio guides. Look for rare species of wading birds and a rich variety of wildlife, and learn about the rice fields and ecosystems of the lake.  Then, climb aboard for a 30-minute boat cruise along one of the biggest lakes in Spain. Sample the best of the local gastronomy over lunch in the village of El Palmar. Enjoy a typical meal from the Valencia region, including a starter of salad and squid, a main course of seafood paella and a dessert served with one drink.

    The excursion has been great, all the staff are lovely and very helpful. Spectacular setting and very good food. The only negative aspect is that Getyourguide is an intermediary, despite the fact that they sent us 3 emails with the information, they did not inform us that the change of location of the meeting point meant that we missed the bus, since it was a stop at more than 15 min walk. Everything was solved very well thanks to the busturistic staff not from Getyourguide

    Beautiful but not a lot to see for the amount of time spent

    Beautiful country side. Nice to take a boat ride but not real scenic. We probably spent one or two too many hours there. The paella rice was very good, but the meat was dry. The calamari appetizer was cooked a few hours earlier and not crispy, but the service was excellent. It definitely gave us a good overview of the region. The bus driver was helpful too.

    Booked boat trip with lunch included for 30 Euros each. Driver was great, boat ride fun (At 45 minutes, just right) but the paella lunch was a big surprise. Four courses & everything cooked just ride. Driver even called the restaurant to let us know traffic was very heavy and he might be 15 minutes late. (Nice touch.) Will definately do it again next year.
