Meet your guide and get set up with your bike. Start your tour of Valencia by pedaling downhill to the unique Turia Gardens which were created in a former riverbed and stretch for 13 kilometers through the city.

Cycle past the Serranos Towers, a small castle which used to be the former main entrance of the medieval walled city. Cruise past important historical buildingslike the Mercado de Colón, Gardens of the Old Hospital, Pillar Square, and the Quart Towers.

Soak up the atmosphere as you glide by the old university, the Patriarca Church and the Glorieta Gardens. Continue along the former riverbed passing by the Music Hall until you reach the City of Arts & Sciences.

Nice way to see the highlights of the city. We had booked it (also this time) to get a taste of what we could go and see for ourselves later. The guide knew a lot to tell and did a very good job; took into account the (slightly quieter) places where she explained something and kept the group together well.

It is worth starting your holiday with a bike ride, then you immediately have an idea of how the city is put together. Easy for the rest of the days. Given the distances, we would rent bicycles for more days, instead of the metro card. But that is of course personal.

This bike tour was the ideal start of our city trip. You will pass the fun highlights of Valencia and the guide will be happy to tell you about them. At the end you can ask some questions for recommendations, such as restaurants during the rest of your stay. Highly recommended!
