Meeting point

Meet at the entrance to the Royal Gardens. Your guide will be holding a sign with 'Doge's Palace Walk' written on it. Directions from St. Mark's Square, facing the Basilica turn right and walk towards the open water. At the two giant columns facing the water turn right, and follow the line of trees, after 100 meters you will come to the entrance of the Royal Gardens.

Our guide did a great job of using the site to pull all the features of the cathedral together. Talked about architecture, sculptors, painters, organist and more. Great views from the roof and he even told pictures for us!
