We booked our transfer from the airport to San Clemente. This was included in their web page as a destination. At the arrivals hall the receptionist said they don't go there! But we would be dropped off at San Marco where we could get the shuttle to San Clemente. We had booked this just so we would be brought to our hotel and not have to stand for 30 mins in the cold waiting for a shuttle. We will not use this service again.

Great way to travel to Venice from the airport, we arrived at the meeting point on time but had to wait 30 minutes for other passengers to arrive. It was fast and fun but it did feel a bit crammed as you share it with 8 other people inside a small boat.

Communication was excellent. From emails to face to face. We arrived late at night. Didn't have to wait at the counter. The lady knew exactly who we were and where we needed to go. We waited 5 mins for the boat to arrive and were only with one other couple. Crossing was about 35 mins and we were dropped off within 5 mins of hotel. Clear map was given for us to walk from boat to hotel. Return trip full boat crossing was 50 mins staff arrived precisely on time and again called out by name so we knew we were getting on the right boat. We didnt purchase gondola whilst we were there. I would pay for the shared taxi everytime. You get to see lots of beautiful Venice with a quick crossing which is really good for those that don't have sea legs like me.
