At a local chocolatier, we will sample some old fashioned chocolates and its history behind. Forget new brands and experience the ancient flavours of 20s to 50s chocolatiers. Walking around will stop by key landmarks from the Arena to the Roman old Porta Borsari. The story hasn't finished because Verona is famous for its Valpolicella wines. We will stop by the tasting room near the Arena where we will sample 2 iconic red wines (or rosè from Lake Garda if preferred). You will taste all the most important wines of Verona, like Valpolicella, Valpolicella Superiore, Valpolicella Ripasso and Amarone, and we will pair the wines with a selection of cold cuts and cheeses. Experience this fun cooking class, which is ideal for kids, and learn how to make the famous Italian gelato from scratch. Get yourself comfortable in the kitchen; wear your apron, and start cooking. The local supplier's trustworthy Italian Chef will lead you in cutting fresh fruit, while the ingredients of the gelato get mixed in the machine between the different recipes.
