What people are saying about Victor Harbor

Very enjoyable. We were met off the ship at Penneshaw. The drive down to the National Park was long but interesting anecdotes from Philip, our friendly guide for the day, kept our attention and he was very sensitive in providing adequate comfort stops. Fortunately the weather was superb so we saw the sights at their best with the spectacular contrast in colours of the rocks, ocean and seals. Lunch provided was good and we were back in ample time for a tender to the boat. I was very happy to support this locally run small family business and recommend this tour when visiting Kangaroo Island.

Full Day tour on Kangaroo Island to Flinders Chase National Park

It is a 2.5 hour drive from the cruise ship terminal to the Flinders Chase National Park, so unfortunately a lot of our time was spent travelling there and back on the bus and we had limited time to see the sights once we were there. Our driver was very friendly and gave us an interesting commentary along the way and we enjoyed seeing the Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch, New Zealand Fur Seals, Australian Sea Lions, koalas and kangaroos. This tour was very comparable to one offered by the cruise ship company but by booking through Get Your Guide we saved around $80 each.

Great Day!

We had a great day touring the island with Phillip! The smaller bus was much better than the big busses from the cruise ship! Phillip was great at scheduling all of our stops so they didn’t coincide with the large busses, which meant we could explore each place without large crowds! Phillip really was so informative and great about sharing his love of the island!

Kangaroo Island Day Tour a great day out- exceptional coastal views

Friendly tour director/driver/ comfortable 12 seater bus. Tasty lunch included. Well worth the drive across the length of the island to see the Remarkable Rocks and the Admirals Arch. What a magnificent stretch of coastline. Great Photo Ops. Take a spray jacket/windbreaker. The weather can be crazy, even in summer !

It was a lovely day and Mike and Ulli did a fantastic job! Weather and coronavirus threw wrenches into our plans, but our guides were flexible and put together a wonderful day despite the difficulties. We had a great time out and about in Victor Harbor and McLaren Vale.
