An amazing evening, smoothly run, excellent all-you can eat Viennese buffet with “to die for” desserts. The boat easily accommodated the crowd on board, with your choice to enjoy inside or outside after the dinner. The tour was almost 3 & 1/2 hours long and included two traverses through locks. The crowd loved the entertainment, who worked the room well, and had anyone who spoke German singing along. The table service for drinks was top notch. Thanks for the great evening!

In a word, everything was TOP GREAT! Route on the canal and the Danube with passage of two locks, musicians (if they had been in Austrian uniform it would have been splendid but they played, sang so well and were so friendly that we cannot blame them), and meal .

The food was excellent. Lots of variety and ability to accommodate food allergies. Service was excellent. Music was excellent. Travelers should know that all music is in German. This event does say 'Viennese songs', which is exactly what it is. Light and peppy. Excellent vocal, accordion, and guitar. I rated this 4-star because as a traveler, I would have liked something in English. That is not part of this tour. Also, there was no commentary. In other words, this is not a tour to tell you about the history or culture of the area. It's just a pleasant, relaxing ride on the river. Take it for what it is, and enjoy the experience.
