A lot of information was given about Jewish life in Vienna both before and after the Second World War. This guide also showed photographic material from a worn thick folder where one could now see defunct buildings and synagogues. The fate of the persecuted and displaced was told with compassion.

A pleasant walk through the Jewish part of Vienna. The history of the Jews in Vienna was considered. However, I missed the part about the Second World War. In my opinion, that was avoided somewhat. While a lot has happened in that period, what needs to be told. A bit disappointed in terms of thought. Many old Jewish buildings are no longer there. The guide makes up for that with old photos. Nice guide. Her German is very intelligible for non-German speakers.

very worthwhile

The tour was very informative and very lively, especially in terms of language. You could understand the lady really well even in traffic noise without screaming. The lady was able to give all information that she had in German in English. She also went into the origin of the participants and was able to contrast Viennese Jewish life with Brooklyn and Berlin. We could often feel the human fate behind the facades through their descriptions and spent the rest of the evening in the 2nd district.
