There lies an 18th-century estate, Quinta do Tedo. Enjoy a full tour of Quinta do Tedo, which includes explanations of the vineyards and the olive orchards. Learn more about Porto and red wine production, foot treading in the lagers, aging in the 18th-century cellars, bottling, and hand-labeling.  At the end of the tour, taste the Quinta do Tedo's Portos and red wines overlooking the Douro River in the renovated 18th-century tasting room. Explore Quinta São Luiz, the place where a special set of vineyards are nurtured, the wine is made, and Kopke wines are crafted, the oldest Port Wine house in the world.  Walk through the Rumilã vineyard, tour the Alambic house, or visit the Chapel of Santa Quitéria. Discover the new boutique winery and taste a range of classic or premium wines (depending on the option selected). If you prefer, you can just sit outside, relax and enjoy a wine tasting on the Terrace S. Luiz, where you can enjoy a matchless views over the river Douro and its valley.

Following a pickup at your accommodation, your first stop will be in Vouzela, a small village where you can relax for a short walk and try the famous local pastries. Next, in São Pedro do Sul, you can admire the ancient Roman thermal baths. In the city of Viseu, you will visit the cathedral, the Grão Vasco Museum, and the beautiful Misericórdia Church.   Take a short trip on a cable car to visit the mysterious Cava do Viriato. After getting familiar with the city, it's time to try the wine. Your first taste will be at Solar do Vinho do Dao, where you can also admire the exhibition dedicated to wine. You will go to a wine cellar where you can learn about the winemaking process and taste this wonderful grape nectar. The tour concludes with a drop-off at your accommodation or destination of choice in the region.
