A lovely view of Rome, great for pictures. Helpful signs so you can figure out what you're looking at. Was a little bit tricky to find the tourism office where you pick up your tickets and meet the guide. Also, this is not a 'skip the line' tour. We had to line up for inspection of our health passes, and again with everyone to board the elevator. Apart from the video they show (which we didn't see - we were a tiny bit late) there's no real difference between that and just going to the ticket office yourself.

To get in the mood, there was an interesting film about ancient Rome. It was demonstrated in the tourist office in a pleasantly cooled room. We were then personally escorted to the elevator. Despite the heat and the many steps, the employee was very friendly and accommodating. The ascent to the elevator was worth it, at the top we could enjoy an overwhelming view over Rome.

This was great! Tickets were a little pricey, but it was worth it for the view and the cool video shown prior to going to the monument.
