What people are saying about Wallace Monument

flawless, relaxed tour, great guide

This trip was the highlight of our 5-day stay in Edinburgh. Relaxed start at the meeting point. Secure ride on a small bus through the city and countryside. Lovely landscapes and stops. The distillery tour was perfect, with a very nice tour and a funny surprise. However the best was our guide Patrick (Paddy)- thanks to his stories and really entertaining methods the day flew by. The only small downside was that the German-language audio guides that we had rented didn't work properly. But we didn't need them, since Patrick spoke English in a very straightforward way and we preferred to listen to him speak anyway.

Not just for whiskey lovers.

Since the tour was divided into three parts (William Wallace monument, Scottish whiskey and waterfalls) there was really something for everyone. I found my way through the audio guide. In the still the tour was English, but you got a German translation on paper. At the waterfalls we were even lucky that the salmon jumped. Great tour. We recommend. The driver also told many additional stories and made us aware of other sights.

Entertaining tour creates an overview of Highland.

When I book a whiskey tour, I don't want to get drunk, but I assume that I will find out something about whiskey and that a visit to a distillery including tasting is included. The audio guide is also a nuisance here, it would be better to have a German speaking guide.

Excellent, a fun day out.

Excellent tour with Kirsty, who was friendly and chatty, and who gauged the needs and wants of the group perfectly.

A very nice trip

It was a nice trip with a personal touch. Andy C was a great guide with humor which enhanced the experience.
