Discover the Waqrapukara Inca site that sees hardly any tourists on this full-day trek and tour. Visit the Acomayo Province and stop at nearby lagoons before hiking to Waqrapukara. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and round-trip transport from Cusco. Start your trip with an approximately 2.5-hour drive to Acomayo Province where you will get to see four lagoons of Acomayo. After enjoying the view, continue for 30 more minutes to Qenterococha Lagoon where you will have a nutritious breakfast to prepare for the rest of the day. With new energy from breakfast, start the hike to Waqrapukara. On the way, identify the flora and wildlife of the area with your guide. Upon reaching the site, explore the place with your guide. You will also have the time to explore the place by yourself after your guided tour.  Marvel at the site’s distinctive rock, which is covered in ruins, creating a dramatic scene. The towering stone is perfectly nestled in a river valley. Take a break and eat your boxed lunch at the viewpoint of the Apurimac River viewpoint. After the meal, start the hike back, taking a different route that is easier and has different views of the Apurimac Canyon and abysses. Arrive back to the trailhead, where a private van will be waiting to take you back to Cusco.

Our tour begins between 4:30 to 5:00 hrs with pick-up from your respective hotel, then we head to Cusipata where we will have an American breakfast included. After breakfast we will continue our trip for two hours until we reach the town of Santa Lucia, there we will take a detour until we reach the point where we will begin the progressively ascending walk for 1h30min to the archaeological site of Waqrapukara. Upon arrival our guide will explain the importance of the tour and will also give you free time to take photographs. At the end of the visit we will enjoy a box lunch. After a while we will return along the same path to the point where the mobility left us to finally return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:30 p.m.
