Had an enjoyable time on the cruise down the Potomac to Mount Vernon. The boat left on time, had plenty of seating. Nice to sit below deck on the way back because it was very hot out that day. The time spent at Mount Vernon was nice, we got tickets to tour the inside of the mansion, not just the grounds. There is a lot to see there, the gardens, the tomb and memorial to the slaves who worked there, the home itself. Good selection of food at cafeteria and museum shop for souvenirs.

My grandson (16) and I found this tour while driving from Phila to DC He booked the trip in minutes. We arrived at meeting point on the designated time. We were thrilled by the host/sponsor perspective as they guided us. We go to DC often as there is a lot to do, see and understand. Both of highly recommend this fir it’s value on many levels. PS the highlight is really cool in that teenagers want to hangout with their grandparents all weekend long!!

Good performance. Welcome, nice cruise! Magnificent Mount Vernon site! Two small caveats: If you do not have breakfast or drinks to go, you can not access the interior of the boat! Quite a long line to visit the Washington house despite the fixed visit time! The site remains yours without hesitation!
