Puma was such an amazing guide! Due to a cancellation I was the only one on the tour. That meant a lot of time to talk during the car ride, where she answered all my questions about Thai culture, Chiang Mai etc. You could tell that she had a lot of knowledge and that she loved her job! The car was comfortable and I felt very safe during the drive. I mentioned missing the Sunday Market and she was kind enough to drop me off at the top so I could walk through it back to my hostel, making sure I found my way back. The sites were really beautiful and the monk ceremonies with the chanting was magical! We got to the top just as the sun was going down, but due to the smaug/fog the view from the mountain (and the sunset) wasn't very good - but the temple was well worth the trip anyways. All in all a great tour and I have a bunch of photos to remember it by - thanks to my wonderful guide.
It was great! Our tour guide Dee was amazing, he speaks english very good, is very knowledgeable and takes photos for you. He even bought fried crickets for us to try (we wanted that lol). Doi Suthep was very peaceful, it's very pleasant to be there instead of busy city. We have even seen the monks and their ceremony. I recommend this trip, especially Dee as a tour guide!
Very pleasant visit in Umong temple and Doi Suthep. The idea of visiting Doi Suthep temple for Sunset is very successful. Less people and more quiet atmosphere give this moment very enjoyable. The lightning makes the golden reflections of the Chedi even more dazzling. Our guide Jeab was very friendly and gives a lot of informations about history and bouddhism.
Excellent tour. We were picked up on time by our guide Tony. He was friendly, and very informative. He provided insight during the tour, answered questions and also had a great sense of humour. It was a great evening tour with a beautiful sunset at Doi Suthep.
I spent a fantastic day with our guide Nicy. We went to Wat Umong and later to Doi Suthep, the trip respected the time and our guide Nicy explained us many tips about Buddist religion. Fantastic organization.
