No reduction in price for only being able to go round the garden. House closed due to Covid restrictions. Peace and tranquility spoiled by a group of noisy students who planted themselves under the central Cherry blossom tree, disregarding social distancing rules.
The staff were friendly, did like how Graham one of the volunteers that was working in the Jaguar collection, took the time to talk about the history of the brand and also started to show interiors of some of them to show the workman ship.
Despite the closure of the house etc, our visit was a lovely experience. Particularly appreciated the range of plants, including unusual ones. The hyacinth greenhouse was gorgeous. Staff were friendly and helpful.
A delightful garden in the middle of the University ~ we will be back as the garden will change through the different seasons.
