Full description
Start at the main entrance to the Centennial Hall, formerly known as Hala Ludowa or Jahrhunderthalle. Visit the famous Centennial Hall, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2006. One can visit the new interactive museum of the Centennial Hall, Centrum Poznawcze Hali Stulecia, or just admire the huge concrete dome. At the Jahrhunderthalle you can still see the pergola with its multimedia water features, the Japanese Garden and, upon request, the 4-dome pavilion. At the pergola, you can also enjoy a short visit to a regional restaurant and enjoy the Polish cuisine with a view of the water features. Afterward, the group can go alone to the pier and return by ship to the old town or go to the zoo with Afrikanarium. The tour ends at the Jahrhunderthalle or in the restaurant.

Very good leadership. Our guide Dawid was well informed, told very interesting stories and spoke excellent German. He was also flexible when there was a meeting point issue and waited until we were significantly delayed at the Centennial Hall. And that, although he probably had another appointment after us. However, we could not be satisfied with the organization. I had booked hotel pick-up with Get Your Guide, but Dawid was probably not informed about this, so he waited for us at the Centennial Hall.

2 days before the tour we were informed that the Centennial Hall will be closed for renovation work on the weekend. We found out on site that the closure has been going on for a long time, so it should have been known when booking! There was neither time nor a corresponding offer for a short-term rebooking. The "residual tour" that we then perceived was simply bad!!! Poor rather helpless guide, no preferential access to the Japanese garden for the group!
