We had a fantastic tour with Dani our Spanish guide. Only myself and my husband had made a booking on the day we went - we ended up having a personal guide who was so friendly and fun. Our day started off at Xativa castle which truly breathtaking, perched on top of a high ridge, driving up the hair pin bends you arrive at this magestic fortress in the skies. We explored this site ourselves with map provided in english. We had some spare time so we were shown a bonus site where we managed to see some epic waterfalls and a beautiful blue lagoon in Anna. At lunch. as my husband is a vegetarian, Dani recommended a great little authentic spanish restaurant that served veggie paella (which he booked ahead for us - not included in price) and they also had the most sublime cheesecakes! we also ate wild Valencian oranges straight from the wild which was cool! The museum in Ontinyent was half closed when we got there but we used this time to explore the old town which was stunning.

We had an excellent tour of Xativa with Pablo, our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the site and the area, and he set a good pace for the tour for the 14 of us traveling together. He was very friendly and attentive and answered all our questions, including from the younger kids on the trip. Our bus driver was friendly and always on time. I emailed with Maya prior to the trip and she answered all my questions and ensured that we were ready for our tour.
