Really enjoyed this trip, started at a local street food market, then on to a typical noodle shop + quite a few others and finally the infamous 19th Street. My guide was Matthew - he was really lovely, his English was very good and he was interesting to talk to - I would recommend taking this tour. It was nice and relaxed, never felt rushed. In hindsight I would have had a late breakfast or brunch to leave more room for all the food you get to eat, I was stuffed by the end!
Excellent tour with a lot of tasting and a friendly guide. good food, good talks and good laughter. can highly recommend the tour to anyone. also to mention that I couldn't attend my first appointment because got sick on short notice. they offered me to move it to another day. much appreciated!
Well worth the time and money. Good introduction into Myanmar food, which also includes influence from India and China. Very open and good local guide who is willing to talk about both the good side and improvements that should be made in Myanmar.
the guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and the food was outrageously good. he took us to authentic local places we would not have been able to find or navigate on our own.
All round experience of local food. I would never have found these eateries by myself.
