Excellent way to visit Yangon

I chose a private guided tour because I can manage the time and my personal interests more effectively. My private guide was Kyaw, who is very knowledgeable and professional, and I learned a lot about Buddhism from him, as well as being able to visit in-depth the most beautiful pagodas all day long.

Amazing private day trip. The best value for money

The city tour is amazing ... the people living on & around the Yangon river is exceptional... The colonial buildings on & around Pansoedan Street are very impressive...also the Bogyoke (Scott) market is very interesting with lots of food, clothing, handicrafts & gem stores to be found there.Very high recommended .

Awesome private yangon city tour

Our tour was named "Private Full-Day Yangon City Tour" and was an all-day affair commencing with a drive from the port of Thilawa to Central Yangon. The first site to be visited was the Shwedagon Pagoda which is an imposing and beautiful structure which has to be visited when in Yangon. This was followed by a visit to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, where the main exhibit is an enormous Reclining Buddha so large that it is difficult to view fully. Lunch at a local hotel followed and thereafter we visited a shopping area where locally produced clothing and handcrafts as well as books were available for purchase - this latter place was actually a substitute for Scott Market said to be a fascinating market that was unfortunately closed on the day of our visit. After this, we visited the National Museum, which was also due to be closed but which opened especially to allow our group in. The museum had many interesting artifacts from the country's history, the centre piece being Royal Lion Throne.
