Xianggong Mountain is located on the west bank of the Lijiang River between Huangbu Shoal and Nine-Horse Mural Hill. An ascent of the mountain is rewarded with a bird's eye view of Lijiang River winding through countless peaks. Each year, a good number of photographers are attracted to Xianggong Mountain by the light and shadow, sea of clouds, and amazing morning glow at sunrise. Depart from your Yangshuo hotel in a luxurious, private vehicle and travel directly to the beautiful open-air theatre on the banks of the Li River. On this full-day tour, admire unique mountains, fabulous rivers and quiet countryside on a hike from Yangdi Town to Xingping Town. Start at the Dragon Bridge and continue on the path that heads down the Yulong River to the Dragon Village and Fenglou Village. Walk along the riverside and pass by local villages, paddy fields and bamboo groves. Pass through the Yu Long Valley, surrounded by amazing limestone Karst formations, ancient villages and a catch-your-own fish farm. Visit Moon Hill and Yangshuo. Take photos of water buffalo and ducks to capture your special day.

At 08:00, your local guide will meet you in your Yangshuo hotel lobby to be transferred to Gaotian Village, where you will start the 4-hour hiking trip in the paddy fields. The hiking route goes along the country path among farms and the stunning karst mountain scenery.  Learn the regional agriculture with your local guide, and talk with local farmers en route. This is one of the best ways to know the local crops while hiking in the fields. After the hiking, have lunch at the local farmer's house to taste the local food. Then, you will be transferred back to your hotel where the trip will conclude.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Yangshuo or Guilin at 9 AM and be transported by private air-conditioned car to Xianggong Mountain. An ascent of this peak is rewarded by breath taking views of the Li River as it winds its way between innumerable peaks. Enjoy this world-famous view which has attracted many photographers with its dramatic play of light and shadow amongst a sea of clouds. From here you will be taken to Yangshuo’s historic West Street for lunch or to rest. Admire the oldest street in Yangshuo where 1400 years of history sets the stage for a vibrant cultural melting pot. From 2:30 to 3:40 enjoy a relaxing trip along the Yulong River by bamboo boat. Famed as the little Li River, the Yulong boasts an incredible landscape which rivals the Li River. Peaceful views of ancient villages and bridges along with the daily life of local people will provide the perfect end to your experience. Finally you will be returned to your hotel in Guilin or Yangshuo.

Benefit from pickup at your hotel, and then make your way to the river pier to watch local fishermen take part in a unique ritual at the end of the day. See a beautiful sunset over the Li River in the town of Xingping. Experience the traditional lifestyle of the Lijiang fishermen as they use paddles, bamboo leaves, lanterns, and cormorants to catch fish. Marvel as they fish without the need for any hooks or bait. The show lasts for around 1.5 hours and is based on the mutual trust between the birds and fishermen wearing hats and raincoats, holding lamps to light up the river after dark.

Originating in the Mao’er Mountains, the Li River was once one of China’s most important waterways, connecting the Yangtze Valley with the Pearl River Delta. Flanked by green karst hills, your tour today will get you out onto the water on a private kayak tour with an expert guide. The kayak tour lasts approximately 3-4 hours including transfers to and from Yangshuo Town. Once you have collected your kayak equipment, you will paddle along easy routes, traveling downstream. Set off from the ancient and peaceful town of Fuli near Mushan. Paddle your way south to Puyi. Although the karst formations rise less dramatically as the section between Yangdi and Xingping, this stretch of river is beautifully serene and suffers very little traffic. It is also an excellent opportunity to watch rural riverside life as fisherman work their nets and farmers bring their water buffalo to the river to feast on the water and reeds. Split your kayak adventure with a stop in Liugong, where you can pause for lunch and explore the sleepy riverside village, which dates back 800 years and appears untroubled by time. Climb back in your kayak and paddle back to Puyi, where a driver will be waiting for you to take you back to Yangshuo Town.
