The trip seemed very organised. The 1.5hours was just enough time. All staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious (Thai green chicken curry and a chocolate brownie). However I will say, the menu that was stated on the get your guide website was completely different to what we were served. Also at the time of booking, there was no option to state whether we required meat or the vegetarian option. Me and my Mother did not require any different options but I am mindful that some people do.

Was a bit disappointed to find that when we got onboard the whole upper deck had been pre booked by a bus tour , we were shown to a table in the salon down near the waterline . My wife and I didn’t think it very fair as we were given no option to pre book and felt a bit isolated. Also it was a bit confusing exactly where the cruise was leaving from as there are several jetties on the river side .

The standard of food exceeded my expectations, being tasty, hot and well cooked, not overcooked. Lovely chocolate roulade too! Service was friendly and attentive too. It was pleasant to lunch on the river and the tour should be booked (I believe) on that basis, rather than expecting a lot to see and hear. The trip (as you would expect in summer with the trees and growth on the riverbanks) did not have a lot to see, but the pilot did his best with the little he had. Excruciating jokes (just about forgivable) but not my taste in background music - light jazz, when I'd've preferred something less obtrusive and mellow. It was, however, good value and I would recommend it.
