What people are saying about Yorkshire and The Humber

OUTSTANDING LIVE NARRATION! Highly recommend this bus because York is fairly large and it helps to orient you about where things are. Use the hop on/hop off feature to take you to where you want to go in York. It’s very helpful. Buses run regularly and there was always a bus close by when we needed one. Outstanding drivers! Very nimble and safe—great people most of the time we were there. My husband and I have had many hop on/ hop off bus tours and they are usually fine and generally run recording of the tour highlights as the bus follows its route. It’s a special treat when they have live commentary as some of York’s buses do. We especially appreciated MARK’S intelligent, knowledgeable, interactive, informative talk—really great guy and really sought to care for all of us—listening, as well as personalizing what he had to say for us! It was really well done! Learned a lot! Tusen takk! Cheers!

The busses were clean. comfortable, plentiful. The route took you to just about everything of importance and stops were easily identified to reboard. Staff at most of the important ones to offer assistance. I got mine straight from the train which was very convenient as I had travelled from London for the day. Price about the same as anywhere else in the world. Drivers were courteous and helpful.

1st time we had used the audio tour but would definitely use again. Easy to use even though we aren’t the most tech savvie. No problem following directions or stopping at a site or for a coffee break. Saw places down alleys we would never have known to look down! Well worth the money.

Really easy to use, once downloaded. We only had a short time to get around Whitby. The tour was very informative, humorous at times and covered all the important places and points of interested.

Great, comprehensive tour. I liked that you could take your time and stop along the way. Very enjoyable!
