This is a must do activity. Our guide and bus driver were fantastic - hilarious and informative. The scenes, both the Field of Lights themselves, and the sunrise are breath taking. Big tip - Dress Warm!! It is very cold but worth every effort of the early morning and cold.

It was a sunrise tour as I couldn’t get the sunset one which I wanted. I was concerned over the cold which really wasn't a problem as I dressed accordingly. The one thing that I didn’t realise is that the moon affects the light regardless of the sunrise. We had a near full Moon and that did affect the amount of light that was around before sunrise and I believe sun rise was earlier than expected. We didn’t have a lot of time before full day light appeared. Regardless of that, it was still beautiful and the best surprise was Uluṟu appearing unexpectedly out of nothing and what seemed to be all of a sudden, then the Olga’s. Simply breathtaking. Really worth it. Better than expected even with the moons light! If I could do it again I would choose a moonless night. Hot drinks and bikkies was fine, we just went to a breakfast at the Ayres rock resort when ready after.

It was lovely to see the lights at sunrise however for the amount of people, the promised hot drinks and biscuits were inadequate. They ran out about 3/4 of the group in. Glad we did it but probably also wouldn’t have minded an extra few hours in bed. Trip was expensive for what it was.
