The complete tour with our guide Bruno from Roundabout Travel was perfect all around. On the way to the national park, he gave us a small sightseeing tour of Zagreb and other places on the way in the van and shared interesting facts about the history of Croatia. You make a short stop in the small village of Rastoke and can admire the waterfalls there. Then we continue to the national park, there you have about 4-6 hours (depending on your pace). Bruno was with us throughout the tour and guided us through the park. Really worth visiting this park, beautiful waterfalls, the color of the water is amazing - it looks just like the photos or even better.

It was a beautiful tour! We loved the small village called Rastoke, that we visited before Plivice lakes! But after we arrived on our final destination we forgot about everything! The view was breathtaking and we enjoyed the transfer from the one side to the other with the boat!! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see the waterfalls from that close, because of the weather conditions...the paths were frozen and it was very dangerous! So, we wouldn’t recommend you to visit Plivice lakes in winter! Also our tour guide, Bruno was really friendly and kind! We definitely recommend you this tour!! It was sure worth it and we would come again someday with better weather conditions, so that we could get close to the waterfalls! It was magic!

The Plitvice Lakes are really a must when you come to Croatia. It is a very interesting natural curiosity. Our guide, Dino, was very interesting, he took the time to explain many things to us about Croatia and its history. The transfer and the time spent in the van was a bit long but that's normal given the distance.
