      This exquisite tour takes you through the countryside surrounding the Lake of the Four Cantons to Lucerne. This includes a brief tour of Lucerne's most impressive sights, including a photo stop at the Lion Monument or Lake Lucerne depending on the traffic situation. After a short pause to rest your feet and recharge your batteries, the tour continues to Kriens, where you will take a panoramic gondola and cable car rides to the summit of Mount Pilatus, a height of 2132 meters. Enjoy breathtaking views of Switzerland's Alpine landscape. Take in the extraordinary panoramic view of the surrounding lakes, valleys, and mountains before making the thrilling descent on the steepest funicular railway in the world, riding at a 48% slope to Alpnachstad. Afterward, you'll relax on a soothing boat ride over the Lake of the Four Cantons, back to Lucerne. From there, take the bus back to Zurich.

      The tour was amazing. The weather was perfect at Lucerne, the day we went. It was bit freezing at Mt. Pilatus. We were guided by Ms. Antje & Mr. Eduardo. Both of them guided us well. I would recommend Best of Switzerland Tours. I had booked 2 days tours back to back with them. Worth it.

      The tour started on time and our guide was friendly and spoke both in English and Spanish. There was only one hour to spend in Lucerne so you couldn’t really do much except see the Lion Monument & Chapel Bridge. Make sure to check Mt Pilatus for when you’re going because during the time I went, the cable car was undergoing maintenance so we went up and down via the cogwheel train which was fun but it’s the same price regardless. The tour group did provide a 20 chf food voucher for lunch. The tour is really weather dependent - it was really nice on the day I went but wouldn’t be nice if it was rainy. Would recommend this tour for someone who’s travelling alone or don’t want to rent a car!
