The highlight of our trip. It was the best of both worlds. We had only one day to do a trip from Zurich, so we decided on a tour to make the most of our day. Transportation to Lucerne & Mt Titlis with Cristina, our knowledgeable, friendly and courteous guide, with the option to explore on your own. We made two stops in Lucerne; one was a 10 minute stop at the lake for pictures and one in Lucerne with an hour to explore on your own. One hour isn't enough to really see Lucerne, but by exploring the places Cristina mentioned, we saw the highlights and got the flavor of the beautiful city. There are no words to describe Mt Titlis. It was absolutely breathtaking. We had 3 hours on our own to explore and have a bite to eat, which was just the right amount of time to do all the activities. We ate at the self serve restaurant at the top; was not the best. After you visit the top of the mountain plan to take the cable car down to the Berghotel Trusbee at the first stop and eat there.

The entire tour was well managed from the time we got into the bus in Zurich and all the way back again. Both Kristina and Vladimir (the guides from Best of Switzerland) were excellent hosts, friendly, engaging, and pleasant. The bus was comfortable, the drive smooth, and the entire trip was well organized. We stopped in Lucerne and had some time to look around before heading up to Mount Titlis.

Absolutely worth every penny ! Well managed on time and wonderful experience. There was enough time to do all the activities on the top . Didn’t know it was a big group - probably wouldn’t have booked it . But luckily the guide was awesome to manage 70 people . For the shoes and clothes - you can rent it up , just before you get into the ice flyer . But it was summer and I was okay with a trainer and a fleece . Overall one of the amazing trips !!!
